Seed EIS Carry Back relief
Although the 2014/15 tax year has come and gone, it is still possible to apply the generous SEIS tax relief benefits to this tax year, through the use of ‘carry back’.
Here are two questions for you to think about:
• Do your clients have income tax or capital gains tax liability for 2014/15 which they haven’t sheltered?
• Did you know that if your clients invest in SEIS shares in the tax year 2015/16, they can still use that investment to shelter a tax bill for tax year 2014/15?
